First off, I can't believe it's really over. Slept like a baby last night. Here's my breakdown
PAT: Achiever and Bootcamp are musts to build confidence. It may be hard at first, but learning all the weird intricacies made me so much faster for the real test. This let me slow down and take my time for hole punches and cubes to make sure I didn't make any errors on the give me questions. I think the only thing that held my score back was the angles section, all of mine were a lot closer together than I would've liked. All in all, pretty happy with the performance. I barely used CDP, because I wanted to be prepared for the worst in every section.
I ran through keyholes, TFE and angles before I took my test just to warm my brain up for that style of thinking.
QR: Used Achiever and the Destroyer. I've always been good at math but a few of the questions on my DAT were out of left field and things that I hadn't done in years. Overall happy with performance, just never expected to do better on reading than math lol
RC: Biggest surprise! Achiever trained my brain to run 200 words a minute through an article and scan for details. This proved essential on the real test. I feel as though my test was very to the point and didn't ask many "What was the author feeling when writing this passage" questions. Used the mapping method and like it more than S&D because sometimes you can pick up the wrong details for questions using that method. The morning before the test I mapped and practiced a passage and it gave me a solid confidence boost.
BIO: Practice everything. CDP, achiever, bootcamp, destroyer. It's very random and sometimes the little random detail from older testing will appear on the real deal. I thought I did a couple points better, but I'm happy with my score. Ferali's notes were perfect and covered 80-85% of my test.
GC: Used bootcamp, 1/2 of the destroyer and achiever to prepare for the tough questions. Worked very well and I flew through this section and only marked 1 question, which seems accurate with my score. I do tutor in GC so I understand it very well as is, but I feel as though it is easily doable with consistent practice and learning of the concepts;
OC: Used Destroyer, Bootcamp, and achiever the most. I felt pretty comfortable on the real deal after understanding everything in these books/programs. Not much more you will see after going through 3 testing protocols.
Overall: The test was easier than I imagined it being. After scrolling through the first few questions in each section my confidence built up and I was ready to score.
Thanks for the help offered here, just thought I'd give a short and to the point breakdown.
