RC - 260 🙁 (always been my weakness)
Bio - 350
G-Chem - 360
O-Chem - 350
Physics - 350 (people were right...it was way easier than Kaplan)
Total Science- 360
AA - 340

I'm a 4th year General Bio major and my GPA is 3.47. I'm pretty happy with my numbers overall, but I'm debating whether or not I should retake it because of the really low RC score. What do you guys think?

The rest of the scores are great, so you can at least be happy about that. However, I can almost assure you that any optometry school would want you to take it again; otherwise, it would be very difficult to be accepted; it would require something like a great explanation of the low score which admissions successfully bought.

i think retaking is crazy. dont do that just yet. your scores are good except the rc. call the schools and ask them. do a little bit more research. i know the scco admin dean has a facebook group. she is very accessible, as is the suny admin director. communicate with them and others to see what the think.

Hmm ... is RC really that difficult on the OAT?

RC is a cakewalk for some, and a nightmare for others; similar things can be said of Quantitative Reasoning, as some people just rely too much on calculators, thus are severely pressed for time when deprived of one.

For RC, it's all about finding a strategy that works for you.
