I'm currently working at a good company with great benefits, more than decent salary and a nice 401K started. I have a bachelor's degree and want to go back to school full-time to fulfill veterinary school requirements, and take a part time job working as a vet tech or assistant to gain experience.
I'm living in the city in the middle of a lease and have a car leased out for another 18 months, and some credit card debt I need to pay off.
How realistic does it seem that I can do this? After reading a few threads, I should go talk to my financial aid office to find out school costs. But, I spoke with a couple fellow students and they said my school program is only considered as a fifth-year program (or fifth year of college) so I won't get much aid there. Is a personal loan only the real way to go for now? Does anyone know how hard they are to qualify for?
Thanks for any advice in advance!
