•This is going to be completely depressing. I funded my med school applications and travelling using graduation money and my job money. Keep in mind, I am living at home for the year, but being a lab tech doesn't pay that much!
AMCAS= $540 (14 schools)
Secondaries= $1035
Non-AMCAS= $75
Postage= $75 (I mailed all of my secondaries priority and tracked them. Plus with all of the AMCAS screw ups, I had to send updates and transcripts, etc.
Travel expenses= $400 (keep in mind I stayed with boyfriend or his family or friends for all of my interviews, so there are no hotel costs here.)
Deposits= $400 (two of which are refundable and I have requested back, but do you really think I will get them back anytime soon?)
GRAND TOTAL= $2525
So, you can adjust your expected expenses for next year!•••••SMW, you're killing me, I completely forgot about MCATs, Kaplan, and a suit. Hmm, okay:

I think I got it now. I did send my boyfriend's parents two thank you gifts for having me there since the two times I stayed there were either on a Jewish holiday or another holiday. And, I took my friend out to dinner, but it would be too depressing to really figure out how much I've spent!
