I spoke with Finch today and thought I would update you guys. They said they have only interviewed about 70 or so people and usually interview close to 700. They said that expect to hear from them Februrary as that is when they really get going. Thought you would want to know.

Just to add to this, I also called Finch and they told me the exact day that I will interview if I am invited to interview. I think you just have to ask and they will tell you when to expect a letter from them. They said I would be interviewed Jan. 17 or 18 if they decide to interview me, so I should expect to hear yes or no from them before then.

shoot...that question's easy! they are waiting to interview all of us! ... at least let's hope so...

I spoke with them and they told me they do not even begin to look at secondary apps until Dec. 16, all of the interviews they have already done were ED.

I don't think that's true. From what I gathered my app has already been looked at once and I wasn't an ED.

I believe you are correct....I was not early decisicion either and I received an interview invite a few weeks ago. The interview is in January though....good luck to all!🙂

X, I agree with you too. How can they be interviewing ED people up to January? Those applicants need a quick decision, at least by mid-October, so that they can apply to other schools if Finch does not accept them. There is no way ED people have been the only ones interviewed so far.

hey all

I interviewed with Chicago Med School (I hate calling it 'Finch') on Nov. 21, and it wasnt ED. There were 5 other applicants with me as well. Any clue as to when we'd hear from them post-acceptance? All they told me was the the committee first meets early december....

I was at CMS on the 21st too. Got the acceptance letter two days ago, but was postmarked December 19th.
