They are brutally punishing especially over NJ roads and surprisingly cramped.
That's the beauty!
If I wanted a cadillac, I'd buy one.

I can emulate the elise experience by sticking you in my trunk and driving down 14th street ... but i'm afraid you might shoot me

The exige has a fixed roof which should stiffen up the chassis a bit. It should in theory handle better than a elise ... or maybe even outmaneuver an apache helicopter 😱

that was a great video M3. in the movie they said it handles better than an elise as well. i've never ridden in one, but looking at the guy get out of it, i'm going to have to assume you're right about the comfort level of that one 😛
the guy was crouching, and i'm sure he was still taller than the car!!!!!!!!!
(one of the good reasons of not being tall 🙂 )

My brother was obsessed with the lotus, and scraped all of his money together in college, and bought a used Esprit. I got to drive it a few times, it was not very easy but nice and powerful. The elise is nice, but it's awfully small. Fine for a girl, but if you have a bodybuilding brother, it doesn't work out very well. Through my brother and his friends, I've actually gotten to drive a fair number of nice cars - porsha carrera 4, corvette, and even a ferrari once. We went to a porsha club racing event and I saw a GT3 - it was ridiculously nice. woo cars!

I was in the passenger seat when a friend was driving his 911 turbo at a 150 miles per hour down the highway...

I creamed my pants.
Instantly.

I can't believe u forgot to mention the SLR and the daddy of modern supercars, the McLaren F1! I have yet to see an SLR on the road but i was lucky enough to see a McLaren on a trip to boston a few years ago.

Sorry buddy, I hate that car--automatic transmission just doesn't do it for me...

I'll give that to you, 5 speed automatic is bollocks.

I'm onboard with the Murcielago, Koenigsegg, GT2, GT3, Countach.

American just doesn't do it for me though...

And can I get a hooaah for Lotus?

Lotus cars are pretty cool, I didn't really like American sports cars that much until a drove a C6 corvette--really awesome car. Too bad I was going around a corner to fast and spun it almost completely around...lol

My favorite on that list is the Zonda though, that thing is so awesome. You can't get much better than an Itallian exotic with German reliability.

Solid. After a Playboy shoot I got to go out on the track at Laguna Seca at a BMW Racing Club event (Northern California) with Steve Dinan (yes THE Steve Dinan).
I saw GOD out there on that track...
And I'm not even religious!

I never realized a car could be handled like that.

How was the corkscrew? I heard it is the craziest feeling you will ever get in a car.

If they were drag racing the Veyron would destroy it. I haven't heard anything about how the Veryon makes it around the track though.

It was beautiful. Just ****ing beautiful. I've never felt that way in a car before or since. This guy was pro - turns at 130mph+.

Two words, Top Gear. The veyron eats up the track like its nothing, that car is so ridiculously good, the FI is like a ford focus next to it.

Well Top Gear didn't give the Stig the Veyron to run around their track.

Well nearly everything for that car is done in Italy--but Horacio Pagani is Argentinian. I thought Horacio Pagani worked with Lamborghini for a while but I don't exactly remember the details.
