Is it true that NRMP will tell you today (Wed) what city you matched in? Anyone try this?
It is something they will do if you matched an advance program but not a prelim program to go with it. It's so you can scramble into an appropriate prelim year. I don't think they'll do it if you're fully matched.
They will also tell you where if you are part of a couple's match so your SO can scramble accordingly. I know this is true, I did it yesterday.
Nope, they will only tell you, if as noted above, you matched into an Advanced position (say Rads) but not a Prelim one of if you were couples matching and one of you didn't match.
Otherwise, there are no tricks. You have to wait until tomorrow, although some Deans have been known to tell their students beforehand.
