I am staying at Ann Arbor, Michigan and am planning to give NBDE Part I in July. Looking for a study partner whose interested in seriously nailing this exam.

Need a very serious study partner for nbde part2 who will surely take the exam in JUNE 2011 .
Anybody who is retaking will be great as I am taking this exam again..

I am planning to take nbde part 1 1st week of june, if anybody interested in revision via skype or emails please let me know.
I am right now in Columbus, Ohio, If anybody around this place or nearby then we can read together at a library or somewhere.

hi m new to this forum .. i hve started out with biochem subject . started with usmle lect videos and usmle notes.. its a little difficult to grasp because of the long break from college ..but m sure i'll get there.. if anyone is done with biochem could u tell me if all the dna stuff in kaplan usmle notes is important in detail .. m really confused. help guys

Hi,

Planning to take the part I in Sept 2011. Looking for a study partner in North Jersey who can meet on daily basis starting July 1st

We'll get started with the process and material on the first week of June and put in 8hrs a day starting July 1st...

Planning to give my part 2 in August. I am looking for a group of serious study partners for part 2. So that we can plan each topic everyday and discuss it in skype. Meanwhile we can do 50 - 100 Qs everyday which helps to remember what we have learned. Any interesting people can drop an email to me: [email protected]. Females are preferred. Be confident in yourself because that is the key. I have started with Biochemistry too. It is good to go through these lectures and videos but just for having your basics cleared. However attempting numerous questions on the topic would be more helpful. That is what i think. I have stated with a gap of four years and, believe me it is tough. If you have any thing to discuss about DNA and related, together we can make our concepts clear. Just throw me a message

hey freelance ,, when do u plan to take the exam . m planning on sumtime in december coz of the change in pattern of the examination from 2012... actually i started off with biochem but it got so toxic by the time i reached the dna part i had to switch subject .. i have started with micro now ... how far alon g hv u reached

Sometimes in September, lets hope. I have started with biochem and would try to roughly cover it up by the end of the month. However i should say that i dont/cant study more than 4 to 5 hours a day, so no toxicity yet.

I know wat u mean . Its difficult to concentrate .. R u going through the texts as well or just kaplan .. for now .. I have just started of with kaplan videos and notes....

I just did the NDB step 1 and this was not my first attempt. Last time, which was last year, raw score was 233 (out of 400), which gave me 74. I honestly don't think I will answer much more than 233. Does anybody knows if this "scale" has changed since April 2010 last year? I mean for 13 months, are students making better where you need to answer for example 250 questions right to get the passing score of 75?
Last time I received the score report in about 13 days or so.. I hope this has not changed this year

Yaa m planning on december ..towards the end.. to b very honest m kinda freaked out coz i was planning on feb 2012 but decided to give it in december because of the change in rules from next year ..it just cut short my whole plan .. but m guessing 6 mths shud b good enuf rite..

I guess there is no need to panic as six months are more than enough, however i will suggest you to take the date, if you have not taken it yet. What state are you in right now?
