I was wondering how easy it is to get a job following residency. My problem is that I would like to live in one geographic area, namely the northeast. I was wondering how difficult it is going to be following residency find a job there?

concentrate on your shelf exams and graduating medical school and getting into a residency before you worry about finding a job in the northeast.

to answer your question.. there are plenty of jobs to be had in the northeast for anesthesiologists. I dont know how desirable they are, but they are jobs nonetheless.
