My friend is taking the dental hygiene board exam in San Francisco on Oct 20 (this Saturday!). She has not yet found a patient. I have posted craigslist ads, but she can't find anyone who qualifies after being screened. Patients need to have not had a cleaning in about 4+ years.
Does anyone have any suggestions? She is screening patients in Southern California right now and I can screen them in the San Francisco area. Lu Lau doesn't offer patients for this test, and other patient finding service never called me back.
Here are some more detailed requirements for patients (need one qualifying quadrant):

Posterior interproximal pockets of 4-6 mm (with no more than one pocket greater than 6mm)
15 moderate to heavy ledges of calculus (ipx--must be felt from both sides)
Six teeth with at least 2 molars
No uncontrolled systemic disease or gross decay/open ipx restoration margins

Thanks for any help you can offer.

You could try posting something up at www.fatwallet.com . I think people there are always looking for good deals or freebies. You could also offer a small monetary reward for volunteering. Money tends to entice volunteers.
