Finding out available seats for August mcat? already registered for July

I dont want to drop my date, then go to register for one in August and not find any seats because all are full. If that is the case I will just take my July one, I am getting good scores but I just know I can do better with another month.

Is there a way to find out if there are any open seats left for August?

If they are full, do you think people will drop as it gets closer? Because unlike June or July when people do that, if they dont take it in August you pretty much have to wait for next year

If you try to reschedule your test via the AAMC's system, you should be able to see any open seats. If you don't, that means they're probably all full. While there will be a few seats opening up as people cancel, I wouldn't count on it.

Also, you cannot reschedule after your regular registration deadline. In other words, you may not be able to switch test dates if you wait too long. Considering that people usually drop their seat right before the deadline, it's unlikely you'll be able to change from a July date to an August.
