hi everybody. i`m new here and just find this forum. it is amazing.. i have a question for those who planing to apply thise days in advansed standing programs.. i just finished my part 1 and i got 95 points. 🙂 i`m done with my toefl too.. and i would like to apply everywhere where it is possible,but i don`t know which univercities exept applications with only part 1 and toefl,and have death line not expired yet. i would be very thankful to everybody who spent few minutes and ansver to my question. and i`ll be happy to answer to yours questions too, and share information which i have. thanks again to everybody..

Please tell me how many month you studied for part 1,and what material you covered , also did you find many questions from old papers in your exam?

i`ve studied around 4 - 5 months but no so hard. around 5 -6 hours per day. some day i didn`t study at all, others i`ve study 7 hours... material from which i studied - kaplan, dental decks and released exams.. from everywhere by little.. to be fair, i don`t know how many repeaded questions there was, but not more than 20% ,exept the dental anatomy. but a lot a thise questions had direct relationships with some of the old ones, i mean - if you study well the whole dental decks,not only simply the question and the answer, you will be ok.

i had some messages in my mail regarding this exam,so let me answer on few of thise questions. i recieved my score 2 weeks after the exam. i had enough time for everything ,even i finished 15 min early each part,exept dental anatomy. so time is not a problem. i think that the format of this exam is not so quite different than written one,i didn`t find it difficult or frustrating.

toefl - 270, gpa - 3.03, part 1 average - 95 ( anatomic science - 95, biochem-physiology - 93, micro-patho- 94, dental anatomy - 99). hey, why don`t you people post some death line....

Congrats!..that's a great score. 🙂 ..

Regarding the deadline(for 2005 start)..U have ample of time..all schools should be starting to review applications only from july (mostly)..& the earliest deadline I know is of sep15(for 2 schools in california) others have late deadline
So u can apply to all of the schools with out any hurry...

I have a question for u,
During the exam is it possible to go back & review other sections when ever we want?
Or We r stuck with one section for 1hour & 45 min? 😕

when you finish your first section (for exampl. - anatomy), and start the new one, you are not able to go back. you have 1.45 hour to finish this part where you are ,and that`s it. when you are done with anatomy sections ,and submit your answers, and start biochemistry and physiology you are not alowed to go back and change something in anatomy part. thanks for the info regarding death lines.

Oh really? that sucks 🙁 ..Atleast in paperbased we have the advantage of reviewing both sections at a time.(anat & phsio bio) or (micropath & dentalanat).

i've been studying the decks & the ASDAtest reprints for the past 1 month. i studied the kaplan materials long back in jan;so dont remember a thing!do u think decks&question papers will be sufficient enough at this moment as i'm taking up my CBT part 1 by july -end.plz .help!

Hey Emsi
The earliest deadline is July 31st that is University of columbia and its a great school. Other than that next deadlines are like sep 15 n oct 31st n some in jan feb .....
i hope that answers. I think its time to get the application from them at least you know what documents you need so that you can get them ready if you dont have it.

Visit individual websites and check latest deadlines and requirements.

if you are applying with only your part 1 score, then u have enough time to make the deadlines. do as pinktooth suggested- that link is v helpful.
