I am planning to apply to postbacc programs for Fall-2010 term.

My problem is I started taking Gen Chem and Physics at my local community college. I am about to finish 1st quarter at CC. Today is the last day to withdraw.

Does it matter if I have finished one quarter each (gen chem and physics) from CC and then apply to postbacc schools next year?

I read that Bryn mawr doesn't allow repeat. Does one quarter affect chance of enrollment?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Did you enroll in CC courses before you knew formal postbac programs exist? Are you competitive for such programs?

I have no idea what a "quarter" is and why it is ending in May; does that imply you started in like March?

You are correct that Bryn Mawr does not allow repeats. I don't know about incomplete courses, but the program is very competitive and I would imagine they are not looked upon favorably.

My advice would be to give the postbac office a call and ask them. They're exceptionally nice and very helpful and handle individual cases as they come.
