In FA it says that local anesthetics bind to activated sodium channels where as in kaplan pharam it says they bind to the inactivated Na+ ch... so which one is correct?

I had alot of issues with this one too a few weeks ago. I ended up finding out (forget where though - somewhere online) that it can actually bind both inactive and active sodium channels but it only exerts its effect when the Na+ channel is active. If I find the source again ill post it.
