Hey Everyone 🙂,
I am both shocked and excited to have received my first interview to an amazing medical school that I would love to attend.
From being a stalker
here on SDN and heresay, it seems that I was sent an interview invite extremely quickly (within less than 2 weeks of being complete and on the first day the school began sending out invites).
I was curious if anyone here that had more experience/knowledge than I do on the matter had any input...my questions:
1) Does being interviewed during the first week that the school begins interviewing put you in a GREAT spot to get in (are they more likely to take you if you interview that early...or is it just as competitive as later since they reserve spots throughout the process)?
2) Does being sent an interview that very first day mean that the school likes you more than, say, the people they start sending interviews the next coming weeks to? (so do they place you at an extremely high priority to do this...or is it luck of the pile basically?)
3) goodluck with everyone's applications this year
