I got an invite from CUNY's Clinical Psychology program. I'm totally surprised, cause I figured I wasn't gonna get into any schools. But, I've also been diagnosed with the Impostor Syndrome...
I wonder if the other 6 schools will extend an invite. 🙁

Wait until you get there. It's amazing how competant you feel at interview weekend because most of the other applicants are at the same level you are.
<---- First year with self-diagnosed Impostor Syndrome. Not sure when it wears off 🙂
6th year, and it pops up like a cold....about once or twice a year, and it sometimes lingers.
Hehe. Well good to know it at least diminishes with time.
Still, I wonder if it's desirable to lose the "imposter syndrome" entirely? I'd hate to become arrogant and complacent about my work.👎
Yeah, I was informally diagnosed by a MD and a PhD. I've been dealing with the characteristics since puberty, but I never knew there was an actual term for it. I just though it was some sort of extreme modesty, but it's more than that. Despite my knowledge of the syndrome, I'm still doubtful of its validity and wonder if it has been popularized for nothing. LOL, well actually, I'm skeptical of most psychology. I ended up in this field by accident. I was supposed to go to medical school, but declined accpetance two years ago. Still tryna figure out what do with my brain, so I've been drifting in and out of potential careers. But, so far... I enjoy research quite a bit.
