I have an assignment in immunology class. The assignment is to write 10 SECOND-order multiple choice questions. Can anyone please give me an example of both a first-order and a second-order multiple choice question (doesn't have to be in immunology but try to keep it to a related subject)? I've asked the professor twice but he doesn't seem to want to give me a straightforward answer and won't provide me with examples.

First order:
What type of cell produces antibodies?
A. T cells
B. Macrophages
C. B cells
D. Langherhans Cells

Second order:
A patient treated with Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cell immunotherapy presents with a lack of any antibodies whatsoever. The treatment accurately targets CD19, a common marker of B-cell development. What part of the immune cascade is affected due to this deficit?
A. T-cell attraction and differentiation
B. Antibody production
C. Macrophage activation
D. All of the above

For the sake of this question, I included all of the above to get the point across quickly.. The direct affect would be on antibody production, but antibodies have some part in the overall immune cascade.

From my understanding, first order questions are very direct questions. Second order questions require a deeper understand of the topic as well as some application.

Does that make sense?
