First Rejection Letter

I just recieved my first rejection letter this weekend. It was from the Univ of Michigan, I do not even know why they bothered sending a letter as I did not even interview or send my letters of recommendation to them. I thought it was a good laugh since the letter sounds as though they carefully reviewed my application and etc. Hopefully I do not get any more of these as the only schools left that I applied to are Nova and Temple, these are the ones I am seriously considering.

and U of M didn't even tell me anything and I interviewed over a month ago!

You should be hearing soon from U of Michigan as I heard they just finished their current round of reviews. The only reason you possibly have not heard from them is that they want you the alt list and they might be waiting to rank you with all the others. From your other posts though it seems you want to attend Columbia so U of M is probably not that important to you. U of M is a good school, but I think you have better options available based on your prior posts.

hehe no way! U of M would have been my first choice if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere... honestly it was the most recommended school to me, but I just can't imagine myself living in ann arbor for 4 yrs! I need a city! :wink:
if I get in, I would probably still have to really consider it...

I think someone mentioned that they were there on the last day of interviews at U of M when there was 40+ people there. I was at that same interview!! I totally blew it even though it was easy. I was so sick that week that I didn't know what I was saying or writing because I was hopped up on dayquil. I totally sucked ass on that day. Haven't heard anything and don't expect to get in.
