hey guys so i just joined this forum and looks like its helped alot of u guys. i had a few questions regarding the DAT
1) where can i register for them
2) cani take them at the end of summer (aug sometime) or are they offered at certain times durign the year. i heard that they are offered all year round u just have to sign up for a site after registration.
3) i havent really had time to start studying, but i finish school in may and then i have about two months or so to study woulld you guys sy that is enough time before DAT, if i put in on avg 5-6 hrs?
im an avg student i would say. A-B range.

im just nervous because i m going to end taking the year off anyway, but i dont know if i have enough activities and stuff for the applications. i ve done predental scoiety for 2 yrs, in 2 academic greek socieities, little shadowing, alot of volunteering with dentists , and 2 yrs or so work at adental office. no research ( you guys think thats a down point)

thanks for ur help in advance!

well you've given yourself plenty of time as long as you get down and do it and dont slack off

I think you should be fine if you study every day like you said. Dont slack off and dont take them until your ready. You can apply online at the ada.org and theyll give you the dates that are in August

Study as much as you can, have a studying plan for yourself. When your confident, that's when I recommend you taking the exam. The exam is offered almost everyday of the yr except during the blackout days. Im not sure when those are, but you can check on the ADA website.
