First year university at wayne state is my course load to high?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It's not bad at all, but make sure you study 🙂

I actually took those classes at Wayne. It's not too bad. A caveat: if you're looking to apply at Wayne State, the Adcoms would want to see you beef up on your sciences. If you went to the information meeting, the advisor said that they are looking for full time course loads with at least two sciences in each semester. Personally, I think the guy is an ass and tries to scare prospective students... 🙄

i just want to play it safe, i have seen many close people not make it through, im sure it would look nice to take more sciences at once but its not something that will make or break you

I'd die for a schedule like that

You'll always hear of those stories. Trust me, i've heard them all! I really do feel that it comes down to is the interview.

Just for fun, here are my classes at Wayne this semester:
- Microbiology
- Orgo 1
- Orgo 1 Lab
- History
- Business Anthropology
- Physics 1 Lab (dropped the lecture to take Microbiology, and surprisingly they didn't automatically drop me from the lab.)

My course load for next year:
- A&P
- Physics 1 lecture
- Orgo 2 Lecture (depends if I get an interview from Wayne, otherwise, i'm dropping this to take Stats.)
- Orgo 2 Lab
- Intro to Food Science
- Food Science Lab
