flaccid means soft so couldn't it be the answer to what happens when a cell is put in a hypertonic solution? water flows out of the cell causing it to shrink and become shrivled and flaccid?

is plasmolyzed the better answer because it's the correct term for this situation?

oh okay so plasmolyzed is for when the cell shrivels and flaccid is for when it's in an isotonic solution?

thank you🙂
