Do anyone knows if you are waitlisted at the same college two years in a row that you have a better shot getting now ?
 
For those waitlisted at USF, were you notified via mail or email/phonecall?

Edit* just checked my email, was waitlisted as well.

By mail? And what's the total cost for Gannon like per year? I tried calculating it based on credit hours per semester and it came out to double what most other schools are.

They're situational. What would you do if you caught someone cheating, what would you do if you found out your clinic was overbilling etc.

It says it’s 17k a semester which there are 9 semesters so that is 153k!! You got accepted ?

Been following this thread for a minute so I thought I'd jump in too!

Undergraduate: Florida State University, graduated May 2018
Major: Exercise Physiology
Minor: Child Development
Overall GPA: 3.61
Pre-Req GPA: ~3.75
GRE Scores: Q146, V158, W4.0

Experience Hours: 462, 312 volunteer Outpatient in ortho, geriatrics, neuro, and 150 paid Inpatient with ortho, geriatrics, neuro, wound care, cardio
Volunteer hours: 400+ over the course of undergrad
LOR: 2 supervising PTs from the outpatient clinic and 1 from a major professor
Extra-Curricular: Served as Social Coordinator, Philanthropic Coordinator, and VP Recruitment of my Panhellenic Sorority, was a fundraising captain for Dance Marathon, Honors Peer Mentor in the honors program, Habitat for humanity member, and currently working as a patient services rep in a pain management clinic full time. FSU scholarship recipient. Service Scholarship Recipeint. BLS certified.

Applied: UCF, UF, South Alabama, and FAMU
Applying To: maybe St. Augustine
Acceptances: FAMU!
Interviews: South Alabama (Feb 1st), and UCF (turned down bc was also on Feb 1st) so far
Waitlist: South Alabama
Rejections: UF

I just received my acceptance off the waitlist at NOVA SOUTHEASTERN- Ft. Lauderdale! Summer 2019

I heard back last week and declined my acceptance a few days ago, so I’m guessing they’ll be sending another round of acceptances out soon. Hope you hear good news! 🙂

I have my interview at UNF on Saturday, anyone know what it's rumored to be like? I'm really anxious to hear back from Nova Tampa because that's my top choice. The anticipation is killing me.

Just got my acceptance letter from UF but I have yet to attend an open house. Can anyone who is planning on going there, or who has at least attended the open house give me their feedback? TIA!

I was also accepted and I recently attended their open house. It was very informative. They pretty much had a few professors from the program speak about their areas of work and about the program, then they brought in current students to answer any questions, and it ended with a tour of the facility.

No problem! And congrats on your acceptance btw. I did really enjoy meeting the current students and faculty- everyone there was very warm and passionate about PT and the school. I am currently deciding between here and my other top choice so I’m not entirely sure!

No, not yet. I was pretty certain they said today would be the day we would hear back from them too. I'm a little nervous but I'll try following up with them in the afternoon if they haven't sent an email/phone call by tomorrow morning.

No I haven't. When I interviewed they told me that I would hear back by the 15th. I'm wondering what's going on. I hope it's good things.
 
Exactly same here. Has anyone that was on the waitlist for USF got off the waitlist and recieved acceptance ?
 
I have informed delivery for my mail and I know that a piece of mail is coming from NSU today. I believe they only call when doing acceptances, so I'm expecting a waitlist. Anyone waiting to hear from Nova-Tampa, check your mail today.

Does anyone happen to know when the University of Miami will be letting interviewees know of their status? Or when they got back to everyone last year? Really hoping to find out before other deposit deadlines. Any information would be awesome!
