I feel your pain. I thought my interviews at FSU were the best I've ever had. One of them even told me I was the strongest applicant they had interviewed so far. Both went out of their way to sell me on the idea of FSU, how I will love it there, yada yada. In the end they both told me they would give me a very strong recommendation to the committee. All that and...waitlisted. Go figure. I think adcoms love the waitlist for some reason. Anyways, I remember the USF waitlist process very well. I thought I did very well there also, ended up on the low end of their waitlist. You can beg, plead, etc. It won't do any good, or at least it didn't for me. I do know one person who was very low on the USF waitlist, had a 3.6gpa, 26mcat, and eventually got in around May. Regardless, they do tend to make waitlisters sweat it out until at least March 15 when decisions have to be made. With your stats I would think you'd be a shoe-in. I agree, waitlisting sucks bad. Don't forget to keep calling them every two weeks or so; that's the best advice I could give you. USF is also my #1 choice; too bad I don't even have an interview there yet. Good luck to you, stick with the process; with your stats you'll more than likely get in eventually.
