Florida - when do they notify in-state for acceptance?

I have an interview 3/7 in-state with UF, and the dilemma is that I was accepted to Ross for May '09. I was just wondering when Florida sends out their notifications, and if it's snail mail or e-mail. It might be cutting it close to make arrangements and deposits for Ross if I don't get into Florida (hoping and praying I will though!!!)

Anyway, anyone who remembers from last year and can post here, that would be great. Also - did Florida send out any info yet about the dual MPH/DVM program? I don't remember getting anything, but last year they sent e-mails out around January.

They sent out the letters by the end of the first week of April. The acceptances where by certified mail, and the rejections and alternates regular mail.

Ugh, sorry, I'm growing impatient waiting for UF. They seriously take forever. For in-state, unless you have slow mail, I'd count on the first week of April.

That is totally insane! You must have had to FedEx your deposit in!

I got my rejection on April 4th, which was a Friday and the didn't mail it until that Wednesday before. I live in Gainesville though, so it will be different than others.

I just called them and told them my acceptance of their acceptance was on its way! Nothing like making a last minute decision.. lol

When you got your interview packet, it stated acceptances would be mailed on or before April 1st. The MPH info was sent in an email 2 months ago.

BTW... Last year UF did not require a deposit.

Hmmm I didn't get that e-mail for some reason. This is going to be cutting it very close for Ross ... I'll have only about 3 weeks after hearing from UF to make arrangements.

just go to the UF vet school website, and on the top left there is an option for all the programs the school offers (dvm, phd, masters, combined degrees).

click on the one you want and you'll get all the info you need about admissions.

I believe deadline in march 13?????
