Food Budget...

My plan was to go about this with coupons and specials. No, we don't have time to be cutting coupons but with so many online resources and loyalty cards it's pretty easy to find savings these days. And i also take the time to plan my meals. Sunday afternoons i blast music in the kitchen and take an hour or 2 to prep some lunches and dinners. I dont have every meal planned to the tee but it cuts on prep and cooking time during the week. But i guess i enjoy cooking and its my way to de stress. I usually spend $40-50 per week on a regular grocery store visit and maybe $10-15 on eating out once or twice a week. So $75 per week is definitely doable.

$75 a week -- Doable, unless you only shop at Wholefoods or live in more expensive areas of the country!
I do shop from Wholefoods and some farmer's markets, and spend $350-400 per month on average.

If you add some instant noodles from Costco (or Asian market), you can cut food budget significantly.
