Does it make sense to consider the factor that a school you are accepted it as is in the same city as a school that you are waitlisted at when trying to choose schools? If so, how big of a factor should this be? I am into four schools and one of them is in the same city as Top 10 School where I am waitlisted at. I am trying not to make that a reason for choosing that school, but it is compelling. This way if I were to get off the waitlist, it would be very easy to just go there instead of having to break a lease, move, etc. I don't know what my chances are of getting accepted off the waitlist of course, but I am competitive. I hope this question is not rhetorical, I am honestly very confused right now and am wondering if I should hope for the best or prepare for the worst.

Post was a little hard to understand, but I think I got it.

I'd say it's taking a pretty long shot on that waitlist coming through, especially if the school you're thinking of accepting is not one of your top choices. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't let not breaking a lease be a huge factor in determining the next 4 years of your life.
