Should we use the science GPA or the cumulative gpa for the most accurate LizzyM score?

I normally use cGPA, but it might be more accurate to use both and then average.

As I was driving to work this AM, I came up with the idea of a new LM score by this rubric:

GPA x last two numbers of the current exam. For example:
3.92 + 521 = 3.92 x 20 = 82.3 This is median at, say, NYU

3.86 x 519 n= 3.86 x 19 = 73.3 median at Stanford

3.78 x 516 = 3.78 x 16 = 60.5 median at Hofstra

3.82 + 515 = 3.82 x 15 = 57.3 median at Einstein

3.75 + 511 = 3.75 x 11= 41.3 national median for MD acceptees

3.81 + 507 = 3.81 x 7 = 26.7 median at U KS

3.7 x 505 = 3.7 x 5 = 18.5 median at Mercer

3.52 + 505 = 3.52 x 5 = 17.6 median for AZCOM

Medians for DO schools are 3.56 + 503 = 3.56 x 3 = 10.7 🙁

So there's a wider range compared to the older LM score, but it seems to be that one can sort schools into dectiles. Where's @efle and @Lawper when you need them!

Need a little bit more weight in regards to GPA I think a 2.5 508 and 4.0 505 don't seem equal.

Or 3.45 510 and do .45 x 2 = .9 x 10= 9
And 3.7 510 and do .7 x 2 = 1.4 x 10 = 14
3.7 515 and do .7 x 2 = 1.4 x 15 = 21

Should make gpa twice the weight and rule out the 3 number (assuming everyone has 3.x+

I will check it versus the original numbers you posted and see how it scales in a moment.
You can also adjust to x 1.5 or so if gpa is too heavy. You are onto something maybe

You can change the x10 to x100 or x50 if you want to spread the ranges out.
