okay, considering in exactly a year, it'll be our turn to match, i'm having a nervous breakdown. i have no idea what i want to be. i like the majority of things, i hate a few things, but i don't LOVE anything. it seems the things i do enjoy (vascular surgery, interventional cardiology) have the worst lifestyles and take forever to complete, while the careers with the best lifestyles (derm, rads) i don't enjoy at all. does anyone know of any good personality tests that would help me decide? how are you deciding? i need help!

there is a "medical specialty preference inventory" online at http://www.aamc.org/students/cim/ - you'd need to get an access code, which your student affairs person should have. it's part of a rather thorough program of understanding yourself and choosing a specialty. it seems helpful...
