Not sure how this will help you, but I know everyone gets a little paranoid/crazy when it comes time to apply, so I'll help ya out...Oh, and I got into Nova and Midwestern, and was waitlisted (but withdrew) from Maryland.

Does anyone happen to know if the admission officers look at your entire transcript (like the AADSAS grades), or the 8 GPAs derived from those grades?

Well, my school puts A+ as a 4.0 when they calculate the GPA. But i believe AADSAS bumps it up to a 4.3. Not sure about other institutions though.

Yea, I guess the portion of the GPA that includes +'s could be a 4.3

The +/- system sucks...my school will give +'s and -'s for anything, but they are not willing to let us have an A+/above 4.0 if we earned it...seems like they should need to balance out the grading system- if there's an A-, shouldn't there be an A+ too??

the ivies have A+ = 4.3 so you can graduate with above a 4.0. wouldn't it make more sense for AADSAS to make the A+s 4.0s though? cause most schools don't give out A+s even if the students deserve them

I took a lot of upper level science and got almost all A's in those (physiology, genetics, evolution, anatomy, inorganic chem, etc) and I got a 21 on the DAT, my non-science grades were also above 4.0 (get 4.3's for A+'s)
