For those applying to Columbia

Hey guys,

In the online application are you guys listing your extracurriculars along with a brief description or just listing them. I ask because they give you a large character limit for these questions.Also, there is no secondary for columbia rite? Thanks

I applied last year, and they had a different on-line app. There was a rather limited amount of space into which one had to fit all extracurriculars, although they did give you extra pages on which you could put anything that didn't fit elsewhere. If they give you a large chracter limit, then I would use the space to write a brief description of each activity (similar to AMCAS). There is no secondary (or at least there wasn't last year).

hey longhorn - i'm applying to big ole P&S - i just listed the extracurrics list style, didn't include much of a description - and then upploaded our extra doc (250K size limit - which is huge) with my personal statement, and all 15 AMCAS experiences with description and contact info - i'm not sure what else to put in there, its only 44K so far! i'm keeping it brief for the other parts. i defiantely hear ya on this app - they randomly changed the md/phd essay!!!! WTF? it was one thing a week ago, and something completely diff this week. whatever - good thing i was too lazy to do it last week. cheers!
