How long did it take for Baylor to aknowledge reception of your secondary application fee after you paid via Paypal?

Baylor's info page states that if we paid via Paypal, please allow them 48 hours to process... it has been four days for me... Are they just backed up for now (they did aknowledge reception of my secondary application though just not the fee and LORs yet)?

For Baylor, I was verified with AMCAS 6/16, Baylor received primary 6/28, Baylor received secondary 8/2, and offered 9/8 interview on 8/10

I received notification the same day I submitted it (7/20). It may be worthwhile to give them a call or e-mail them. I assume you have checked the status page for an update?

I received an email saying that they had received my payment and secondary within like five minutes of submitting them both. I'd definitely call them if I were you.

OP, not to hijack your thread...this is related to the title anyway. What kind of special experiences did you guys write about? I can't think of much that I haven't said in AMCAS elsewhere...

How were you notified of the interview (email, phone, snail mail)?

does the interview invite show up on your status page? I'm starting to worry bc my status says..."Your application is complete and has been reviewed by the committee."

Mine has said that for the last two weeks now.

congrats on the interview...thanks for sharing the info! good luck for it too!

Interview came as an email invite, with a link to the interview info page (you could check it out if you want: http://www.bcm.edu/admissions/invitation/?PMID=2725). There you confirm, etc. My interview is on 9/8 (didn't give me a lot of time to buy my plane ticket).
Now nobody try any funny business and try to confirm their interview when it hasn't been offered. I don't want this trailed back to me somehow and losing my interview (Baylor's my top choice).

Thanks for the info.

Were you complete on their status page on 8/2 and received the interview on 8/10?

Yeah, I sent an email last night. I'm heading off to an inteview later today and will probably call them on Monday if I don't get any email response by then.

FYI: My application was complete at Baylor for probably two or three months until I was offered an interview. I interviewed in December and am now a MS1, so dont' stress it.

Holy crap! I guess there is no need for me to check my status daily! 😳

Alright, here's all the dates I actually documented:
AMCAS Verified 6/16
Baylor sent email informing receipt of primary
and opened unscreened secondary 6/28
I sent my secondary 7/25
Baylor sent email receiving all secondary 8/2
As of 8/09, it was reviewed and awaiting decision
I was offered the interview 8/11
Interview is 9/08

OOS

Hope it helps or something...

Thanks for the timeline!

I'm interviewing 9/8 too. I was notified yesterday (8/17) by email. My file was complete on Sunday (8/13), started processing on 8/14 (I was obsessive about my online status ever since I found out my letters got sent last wk). I don't remember the other dates (like submission of secondary, etc) off the top of my head. Check the mdapplicants profile for that. (Sorry this was in paragraph form and reverse chronological order!)

I feel the same way. I'm waiting on one more LOR. I'd love to go to Baylor, but I feel that you're really behind the eight ball if you don't get your stuff in early at Baylor. I know a guy with a 32 who submitted on the first day you could submit AMCAS, secondary followed shortly, and he interviewed in September, accepted in October. Other people with better stats submitted a lot later, and they didn't get in.

Anyone know by what date your application goes in line? AMCAS submission date? Secondary date? Complete date?

You know - that's just not the stuff I like to hear.

Ana, you really need to stop worrying! If they don't let you in to Baylor then they've got major issues.

And as for everyone else, just because you're not in the first round of interviews doesn't mean that you're "doomed." Chill!

How long did it take until your Baylor stat page show reception of your letters of recommendation after you or your health committee sent out the letters?

Thanks,
