For those of you that had 2 interviews at one school, did they ask you the same questions?

I have an interview format with 2 different adcoms 30 min each. Are they gonna ask me the same questions or do they coordinate with each other? Idk if it would be odd to answer "why doctor" twice at the same school.

The time when I had two interviews 30 min each, each interviewer had a different style of interviewing. They were both pretty conversational, but one interviewer asked more about things I like to do for fun/things not in my application whereas the other one asked more standard questions about my app and my most meaningful clinical experiences, etc. I don't think they coordinated though, I think it was just how they each chose to conduct the interview.

At a different school I also had 2 interviews, 1 hr long each, and the questions were pretty much the same lol. They were both still conversational, so the actual conversations were different, but here and there they would slip in typical interview questions and they both asked the same questions. It made it easier by the second time around since I was prepared and had already answered it but I did think it was a little odd lol I'm assuming the school just wanted to absolutely make sure those questions were touched on, just in case one interviewer didn't ask.

Good luck 🙂

Be prepared to answer the same question multiple times, and make sure you are consistent. There is frequently little coordination between interviewers, and even if there is, repeat questions can still happen. Either way, be sure to be consistent.
