How long is too long??

If you haven't heard anything for a month after your file was completed (e.g., recommendations, secondary, etc.) should you assume that they're just waiting to send you a thin envelope???

i don't think so. some people get interview offers in february, some later

Yeah. Interviews keep coming until classes are filled. There are plenty of folks who get January/February and maybe even later interviews that still get in.

I guess you guys are right that schools inteview unitl Feb/March of next year. However, at some point it probably means that they have looked over your application and decided to wait before making a decision. I'm just bumming with no interviews at this point. At least I have a few more secondaries to finish -- there is still hope.

I had 6 interviews last year: the first was in december, but the rest were after February so don't worry yet. 🙂

Hey...I'm with you...I don't have any interviews either....
in fact.....most of the people i know dont' have any...
it is frustrating though that my friend already has had one and has 6 more lined up....

but she has an outrageous gpa and mcat score...so it's to be expected....

but we need not worry.....hopefully there is a spot for all of us somewhere.....i still have about 26 secondaries outstanding....and i know that at least a few of those schools screen.

Don't assume anything until you receive a rejection letter. Be patient and hopefully the big envelope will come.

It's a long process, and I know how hard it is to wait.
