Congratulation again to all of you and thank you for the input. Have you finished all prerequisites? If not, what are the remainders? I am trying to rationalize my hold letter from Western University.

No. Taking Micro and Physiology now, Calculus in the summer. That will give me a whole week or so of vacation before pharm school starts!
But I don't mind, I've been taking classes year-round (summer and winter intersession) for 2.5 years now.

As long as you have the majority of your prerequisites completed before pharmacy school, I think you should be fine. You should apply when you have completed your first semester of organic chemistry to show the school you have finished this very important course with a solid grade. I started applying in September when I had just begun taking organic 2. Consider applying when you are practically and have taken the PCAT.

You can apply as long as you're able to finish all your prereqs before the school's deadline. I think it's usually by the end of the spring quarter/semester before entering the pharmacy school, but some also allow you to finish by the end of the summer.

My hold letter didn't say about the reason, just informed me that they will review my file again. I am working on the last prerequisite, organic chem II.

For those of you, you have already been accepted, what are the terms and conditions of the rest of your prerequisites? Do they say it has to be a "C" or better or anything like that? Thanks!

I am still finishing up Organic Chemistry II and the lab. I need to finish them by the end of spring semester and I have to pass with a C or better, a C- or lower does not count.

I pretty much finished all of my pre-reqs about a year ago but had a couple stragglers for some schools. I took 2 classes last semester and this semester to fill in the gaps.

I think ALL of my classes this semester are pre-reqs, except for English (which I was taking in case I wanted to go to Shenandoah). So I still have OChem II, A&P II, Speech and a humanities (ethics). But then I have the summer off 🙂
