Just so you know, they were really cool about scheduling an interview for me next to my Rochester interview. I think they were officially booked all the way out to December, but I called and said I would be in Rochester in October, so they actually scheduled one for me in Oct (and when I called I hadn't yet been invited for an int. even though my app had been done for a month). So maybe you could give them a call and see what's going on.

I think they're filled to capacity now cuz I just called them and begged for an interview in october when I'll be going to NYC and they said they couldn't do anything to accomodate. So the next available date is early december

This worries me, they are already booked until december!!!
I was really hoping to get an interview from them, my app was completed 8/15, but I never heard anything from them...I am now officially worried. Any ideas of what I should do or am I probably in their "forget about it" list?
btw: here are stats (what do you think for NYMC) - 3.48 overall, 3.28 science, 10,11,10,P MCAT. Double major, cali resi., UC school, some hospital work, EMT, good EC

Call them up!!(officially 😉 ) 🙂 Tell them you want to coordinate interviews (even if you don't have one to coordinate with!) December is better than Feb. or March. Good luck!!! 🙂

You mean for her to call them up and coordinate an interview even when they haven't invited her for an interview yet?

Are you lacking any part of your file? (ie. picture, letters, check,etc)

I DO NOT recommend coersion of an interview by saying you got an interview elsewhere at another NY med school. The schools may communicate with each other, and you could put yourself in a potentially uncomfortable situation if you got found out.

AMCAS sent 7/10, verified 8/5, and NYMC app complete 9/14, interview invite 9/23. cumulative gpa: 3.5 science gpa:3.2
MCAT: 11,11,13,Q.

i was away for another interview, didn't check email until today 9/25, and was told they were booked until mid-december!!
