Foreign Trained Dentist can work in USA?

Hey All,

It would be great if u can share some knowledge on this topic...I am an FTD...Are FTDs allowed to work in the US as dental hygienists or assistants..I am currently on B2 Visa and am hoping to get into an international dentist program...I would like to know if i can work or atleast observe in a dental office here in the US .

You can go for observation at dental offices but they won't allow you to do any work there.

i believe you can work as a Dental Assistant depending on the laws of the state, not 100% sure though.
