Hey all, so after spending a year dreading my upcoming psych rotation in 3rd yr I realized I LOVE it! I am seriously considering going into psych & was wondering if anyone had any practical experience/info regarding forensic psychiatry. I've read about it & have gone to the "The American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law" website but I wanted to know the real life down & dirty of it. Specifically I think I would be interested in consultation work for the courts & now that I think of it, I've always been interested in profiling & forensic cases...
thnx in advance.
