Hey guys,
I was just going through my application and I realized I forgot to add English to my languages. I don't know how bad is that and what can I do to fix it? Should I email every program I applied to? Please help I'm freaking out!!!

Thank you for the reply! I'm an IMG btw does that make a difference?

Seriously. Don't put English as a language. It makes me worry.
Amusing story:

If you actually read the descriptions for the language levels provided by ERAS, the highest one is "I converse easily and accurately in all types of situations. Native speakers, including the highly educated, may think that I am a native speaker, too."

My roommate in medical school read it literally, and almost put himself down as not fluent in English before one of us noticed and told him to change it. While he went to a US med school, a US undergrad, a US high school, and was quite fluent in all aspects of English... He moved to the states when he was 12 and has an accent. Figured he failed the "native speakers may think I am a native speaker" caveat b/c we could all tell it wasn't his first language.

OTOH, I'm also an immigrant... but have been speaking English since age 3 and have no noticable accent. I still put English as a language and marked myself as fluent (in addition to the other language I know and am fluent in).
