Forgot to put NRMP number in application

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No, it's fine. It's in the profile section, where

"The information in your profile should be kept up-to-date throughout the application season. You can update your profile at any time by clicking on the Update Profile link on the top right or by clicking here."

You can add it at any time, most people don't even have one yet (not to mention that the NRMP website is sooooooooo slowwwwwww right now)

The site doesn't work, loads forever and keeps saying "System error occurred. Unable to authenticate", even though I'm clicking under the new registrant part. Anyone else having issues?

I've managed to get to the page where you can click to register, but it crashes after that. I'll probably try again tonight, when hopefully fewer people are trying to access the site.

I am getting a white screen when I click on "login" on the right hand side. I think it crashed.

NRMP says the system is unavailable. Just get an error when I try to register.

I got my ID Number but couldn't get far enough to pay.

With all the money they rake in, the least they could do is fix their servers. ERAS hasn't had any problems.

Where do you get the NRMP ID number?

edit, nvm, I found it

It seems I can get an NRMP # without completing the registration. Do I need to register and pay right now?

Also, I can't seem to go back and make any revisions to my registration info, even though I haven't yet submitted my ERAS application and there may be some changes (e.g. to the number of volunteer experiences, etc.). Can I make revisions to my profile after completing registration?

You can update your profile (email, ID numbers) but not your application (work and volunteer experience).

R3 seems to be working much better now though.

Anyone mind posting a link to the registration page? I can't find it lol

But when you try to submit your ERAS application, in Part 3, it says to review your Application, and the NRMP ID section is there also. Since the NRMP ID section is in the application, and since we can't change the application after submitting, do we need the NRMP ID prior to submitting?

I'm complete. I waited until getting my NRMP number, and added that to ERAS. It ended up being simpler that way.

The first part of your application is your profile information, which can be edited after submitting. I promise you can add your NRMP ID after submission, as I did it this afternoon.

people on this board are the worst sort of chronic worriers in existence. In a constant state of :scared:

When I click "vew your MyERAS Application (html)", it brings up the entire application and the NRMP ID section is there. That's why I was asking.

I'm aware of why you were asking. I submitted my application at about 10:30 this morning, and got my NRMP number around 2, then added it into my profile as soon as I got it. I just reprinted my application to my files when I wrote that reply, and my NRMP number is now in that field. Hence my reassurance.

40,000 other people are trying to do it right now also. Wait a day or two. Relax.
