Anyone else have form AS? I thought the PS started off easy and then got really hard. I thought VR was kinda easy. BS was somewhere in between but did have 2 o-chem passages at the very end that were hard. If anyone else had this same form and wants to talk, email me at [email protected].

I agree...I thought the PS was pretty easy (but it kinda scares me that I may have made some stupid mistakes). Verbal has always been my weakest section, and I'm worried that I may not have done well. Bio wasn't that bad either. I may have to retake depending on my verbal scores. I think it was the agriculture passage that did it.

I think there was a mistake on one of the last questions of PS. I got 2M, but the choices only gave 10th of a molar concentration.

Oh well! Hopefully I won't have to take it in August but not feeling that great about it.

There's actually a big discussion about this question on another A_ form thread - just look for the one with the most responses.

A lot of us are fuming about this. I spent around 5 minutes on that question since I finished early and kept on coming up with 2M. I tried working backwards but I had no luck. Hopefully, it was a mistake, but then again, it is the AAMC we are talking about hehe.

the STUPID AGRICULTURE PASSAGE: until I die, I will never understand what in the world the author was trying to argue. That was by far the killer passage. I spent so much time on that passage knowing it had 10 Qs that I didn't get to the ninth with 5 questions and just bubbled in C. It probably would have been better if I skipped the agric one and did the 5 question one since i probably got all 10 Qs in it wrong! seriously, there must me some evil, depressed person who puts such difficult passages on the verbal test. these people prbably are taking out their life problems on us. 😡

just think of that author being a hippie, wearing patchouli-scented birkenstocks whenever he goes to the organic market. all of the questions made more sense after that.

Is it just me or am I beginning to forget all the specifics from this test? I can't even remember what passages I did on the test anymore... besides the ones that killed me!

PLEASE do NOT discuss MCAT test questions. It violates AAMC test copywrite laws and could get SDN in LOTS of trouble.

if you MUST discuss questions (and I don't advise it since it just makes you stress out even more when you find out you got one wrong) ... take it to PM or AIM.

If you continue to discuss questions the threads will be deleted or closed.

i seriously hit depression right after i wasted my time on the 10Q agriculture passage. f*** i felt like i'm gonna have to do this s*** all over again just cuz of f***ing verbal. by the time i was done that passage, i noticed i only had 10 mins left to do the last 2. so i pretty much had no clue what i was reading and then guessed a buncha letters. whatever...

I totally understand sweetstuff25. The agriculture passage will be my downfall.

It seems obvious to all of us that the answer was wrong...
But it's not jsut about the 1 point discrete question....
The time wasted on such an easy question is priceless!
I must have wasted a good 6 minutes on that darn question!

I wrote to AAMC via email, and I suggest others do the same. At least it will get them to look at the question.
