was the physics tough as #$!@ ?

1) Your test form code. (For people who want to compare experiences)

2) Your general impression of the individual sections. Remember, do not provide anything overly specific that might make AAMC mad.

4) Anything else you want to add. Feel free to predict your score.

I had FG.
Don't know if the two are similar.

My general impression of Biological Sciences and Physicals sciences: No surprises there.
Verbal, on the other hand, I thought was super difficult. Most of the passages were pretty hard, and if they were easy to read, the questions were difficult.

Yup.
Screw orgo.
And a really obnoxious passage about glomerular filtration rate?

omg yeah--I hate kidney and o-chem most of all, and of course that's what I got! What did you think of physics? I thought it was fair. I thought verbal was pretty tough--that's my best section but geez--there was this one philosophy passage about justice and the greater good that almost didn't make sense. The only passage that wasn't completely hard or boring was the rap music passage. I kept turning the page, praying for an easy passage, but all I got was history and philosophy. What was up with that passage about doing battle by land and sea and eastern Germany and Africa taking over the world? ugh.

PS: I really got messed up by my confidence. I was so confident that I could answer every question that I ran out of time and had to guess on two passages.

VR: Since I did EK, I did not feel bad at that section at all.

The writing sample was poop.

BS: I don't want to get over confident, but I felt somewhat good about it.

Overall, besides from running out of time on PS, I thought the test was easy (especially compared to the April test).

test FH

ps was fair, guessed on a few but finished on time at least.

vr was pretty brutal. felt much worse after today's vr than I did on most/all of the practice tests. only good passage was the rap one and the freud one wasn't so bad. got destroyed by the passage about oral history or whatever (can't even remember what it was about really cause I didn't get it).

bs was weird. did not play to my strong points. way too much organic. not enough neuroscience or endocrinology. milkweed/corn passage really pissed me off.

I hated the oral passage >_<
Dazed and confused only comes to mind. Somehow I made it through that one as well.
The rap passage was the only entertaining one. The first one was also pretty interesting but I agree it was too much history/philosophy.
I liked the milkweed/corn passage...
I hated all the orgo.

not only was that milkweed passage horrible....but so was that liver one...with something going disfunctional...i forget what gene.

I had FG.

My impression was a little different then everyone else. I usually do well on the physics and bio sections and then struggle to finish verbal. I actually thought the verbal was probably my best performance ever in comparison to all of the practice tests I took. I was hoping just to get a 10 or 11 on it but now I think i could get higher, hopefully. I thought the bio section was abnormal and I agree that the orgo part was a little crazy. The physics was alright but I didnt feel that I did better then maybe an 10-11. Same with bio. I was hoping for a thirteen on bio but I dont think thats even remotely possible after taking it.

I believe you are able to post very general topics--nothing too specific or it will be erased by moderators. You can always send private messages to ppl if you want to discuss specifics 🙂
