Here's the thing and my biggest issue. You can say be nice to everyone or you get what you deserve. Some may agree with that and feel the preceptor got what they deserved and we should laugh at them.

I believe we should forgive people and give everyone a fair chance, not laugh at their misfortunes.

On that same line of thought, why even be nice at all if everyone is just going to forgive you for being an absolute jerk? Why teach manners?

They are also not mutually exclusive. Anyway, this thread is just turning into a pissing match now of who is right and who is wrong. I am just going to stay out of all of this and watch.
