Hello, I have never visited this side of SDN. My cousin is in her first year of residency. She was wondering if there are any forums where physicians/surgeons discuss cases and support each other. Something similar to dentaltown/ towniecentral for dentists? I looked around before posting this but really didn't find any. Thanks.

What's wrong with this forum? 😉

People don't typically post cases here because we are too busy to do so, but there is no rule (outside of standard HIPAA and looking for medical advice rules) against doing so.

Medscape has some forums: http://boards.medscape.com/.ee6e575/[email protected]@

I have found a very useful online resource for hematology education, practice and research - BloodMed.
You can ask the expert questions about your case, which I have tried once. The experts will answer you about a month since you submit the questions. And the editors will put the questions and answer online.
Also, you can share you case report with others. Many interesting cases have been published online......
