Are FP residents who did an EM fellowship allowed to work in the ER like b/c EM physicians?

em depts either except non em boarded folks or they don't. a fellowship is nice but doesn't make much difference. lots of ed's all over the country are run by non-em boarded folks but this will probably change as enough em residency grads get out there. rural er's right now love fp's/pa's/np's working in their depts. when the em residency folks say they will work the same job for the same money, everyone else will fade out of the picture...so in the long run if you want to do em, do an em residency and get the gold standard credentials
