Hello,
I had a question about the FPGEE and the PharmD degree. I'm a Canadian student, who in the future, would like to work in the States.
What is the distinct difference between a foreign pharmacist being licensed through the FPGEE process, and someone who has finished the professional pharmD degree? I always hear these international students trying to upgrade their degree to PharmD when they arrive in USA. But, what is the point of upgrading to PharmD when you can just get licensed through the FPGEE process?
Is a professional PharmD degree required to work in USA, even if you're licensed through the FPGEE(+internship/Naplex/cpje etc.) process? I'm trying to connect the dots here, but no luck as of yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
