Hello everyone!
I just got done with my test, and I am a little disappointed with my scores. First off, I want to thank all the guys on here (mddang, Jigabond, harrygt, osmis, hoangdds, and anyone else I have forgot to mention) for all the help they have given me. You guys were great and very inspirational.
Here are my scores:
Pat - 18
Math - 18
Reading -18
Bio - 20
Gchem - 22
Ochem - 22
TS - 21
AA - 20
I was hoping and praying all week I wouldnt get the "frapped" version, but I guess my prayers were not heard 😀.
Well here is the break down of all the sections:
Bio - Like everyone said, it is pretty random. I read up on FRAP briefly, so I was familiar with it, but I wasnt sure if I got the question right or not. Overall, I didnt think this section was too bad. Destroyer was great as I saw some very similar questions. I would recommend that you read up on embroylogy and cell differenation to prepare for some of the questions.
Gchem - Very straight foward, I did get some lab questions and some specific "glassware" question. I think I missed it but o well. Destroyer is great for the calculations, but half the test was conceptual. I think Kaplan and Destroyer is enough here.
Ochem - Very easy, even though I had a question or two that made you think. Not sure what I missed here. I think Kaplan is enough here and Destroyer may be a bit overkill.
RC- I got frapped, so not much to say here. Overall, I didnt think the passages were that difficult. The frapped passage was just long. If you get the frapped version, I dont think the search and destroy method will work on any of the 3 passages as they were all filled with tone typed questions. I got the ethics passage 2nd so I tried the search and destroy on the first passage and it didnt go to well. I think I missed the majority the questions on the first which frustrated me a bit. For the 2nd and 3rd passage, I read the whole passages then answer the questions.
QR - Wasnt as difficult as I thought. I thought I did well here as I finished with 10 mins, so I must have made stupid mistakes.
Well, thats all for now. I think I will take a break from SDN for awhile and finish up some of my apps.
My GPA isnt too great so I was hoping to do really well. My GPA is a 3.13. I will probably retake 🙁.
