Hey everyone,

I am supposed to take the Step 2 in about 10 days, right before I start my SubIs, but my Uworld average has been around low 60s --predicting a score around a 220-230.

My step 1 was 221. I would like to stay in Cali.

Considering my step 1 is below average I was planning on taking step 2 early and do well. But my practice tests have been around the same area. Is it worth it to take the test now and get the same as step 1 or even lower or should I postpone it and take the step 2 after my 2 subIs --- so i will take it in end of September?

Please advice---thank you!!

You have 10 days left.... I say work your tail off, study 12+ hours a day for the next 10 days and I almost guarantee your score will jump ~10 points or potentially way more. I wouldn't put it off. If its important to you, study hard and you will be fine.

I was in a similar position. I postponed the test and got a good score 1 month later.

No right or wrong answer. Depends on your overall applicant profile. If you can't cancel your Sub-I's I'd prolly bust a-- and study 16 hrs/day for the next 10 days.
