So what's the general consensus on how many points you can improve in 4-5 weeks? My test is just under 5 weeks from now and I just got 80% on the NBME Free 120. I'm 1/4 thru UWorld with a 73% avg (timed & random EXCEPT for psych/biostats, b/c I haven't reviewed those subjects yet).

My goal is 245+. It seems like my free 120 score of 80% predicts me at like a 220 (from browsing past threads like this https://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/free-150-score-correlation.1132603/).

Is a 30 point jump with just over a month remaining feasible?

My UWorld avg of 73% seems to correlate with a higher score (240+) based on random tables I find online. However, I have been doing them without adding biostats and psych. On the free 120 I missed at least 4 biostats/psych questions. This might explain the discrepancy b/w my UWorld vs free 120 predictions.

So how'd you fare?

NBMEs and UWSA2 are a better assessment. Free 120 is way easier than the actual step and you're only done 1/4 of UW so using your percent correct doesn't seem like a true representation. After already taking the exam and constantly trying to figure out where my scores would correlate, all I can say is at the end my NBME average and UWSA2 average matched my UW % correct. But sitting for the exam is a totally different story. Doesn't matter what you're percent corrects were unless your perform on the day of the exam.

That being said, I think the free 120 is the worst prediction of your actual score because its easier than the actual exam and it is also a whole block shorter than any other assessment out there. Take an NBME (17 or 18) or the UWSA2 if you really want to know.
