Free 150?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Have the free 150 remained the same the past few years or do they vary year by year?

Also, can someone please post these Kaplan explanations or PM please. Thanks.

Its a module said to resemble the real thing with a small sample size of 150 qs, most people take it right before the exam to gauge their potential performance.

It's best to download the latest one released, from what I read, there will be transition period that will begin may 15th which will have lower # of clinical vignetter format qs , NBME plans to release new test items to reflect this change.

I dunno if they have released em yet ,but you can locate the current 150 qs here:

www.usmle.org , look under the sample USMLE STEP 1 questions test section.Additionally kaplan's website provides the answer key and explained answers to this test, download this as well from their website.

Good luck!

I have tried the Qs before my exam, they're ok but remain the same for past years I believe (I've tried 2005, 2006, 2009), the only difference is that older versions have 50Q and newer ones only 48. The style of the Qs is shorter than current ones I think, so relatively speaking, I think it's easier.
Wikitestprep has the explanations and score estimator, so just google it. It overestimate mine like UWSA, but still good practice.
