Are there any university providing free education? I know of a Sweden Uni Ume http://www.umu.se/studentcentrum/iao/faq.html , it is providing free education.

- Are there any tuition fees?
No. There are no tuition fees at Umeå University, as Swedish Public Universities are still financed by taxes.

- Are there any scholarships that I can apply for?
As studies at Swedish Public Universities are still financed by taxes and therefore do not charge any tuition fees, we have no structure for Scholarships. Though there are no scholarships to be had from the University itself there are a small number of scholarships offered by the Swedish Institute. To read more about these scholarships and who is eligible to apply, visit www.si.se.

The course list are here

Are there any other free education university around? Is it safe to study in this university providing free education? It looks kind of weird they are not charging any fees and there are no bonds too.

Wouldn't you need to be a citizen ? The only other one that comes to mind is Cuba but when I read about it, conditions sounded pretty harsh.

The First thing you need to understand in life is that:

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE RIDE.

YOU WILL PAY SOMEHOW, SOMEWHERE

There is a free education (covered by taxes...) in Poland, but you have to be EU citizen (or have a 'right to reside') and pass entry exams in official language - polish, if not you can apply for a place in English Division but then you have to pay.

In my class there're quite a few foreginers who learnt polish on a special one-year course designed for preparing them to polish entry exams.
Unfortunetly very few of them made through the first year without final make-up exams (which is not so strange on polish Unis, most of my colegues have a make-up exam in September, including myself)
Foreginers on a polish course have an opportunity to repeat first year... (Polish citizens do not) On the other hand some of them made it safely to the second year without any problems :)
